Change in direction
 

I spent 30 years , as a musician ,clown performing in circus, rock concert circuit, festivals, nightclubs and the street.  I have a collection of scars showing that I cut my teeth and passed my apprenticeships. However upon the arrival of  Lock down  ( remember that ?? ) I went from doing around 300 shows a year to none. It was time to make some changes in direction. ​

I had felt a little bit of an impostor , saying I was a painter until I entered a couple of competitions for in 2024  .This painting was shortlisted for the British Art Prize, Herbert Freehill's portrait prize ,and Jacksons Art prize
