Born in Glasgow in 1967, I grew up in Ayrshire , on the west coast of Scotland, did normal kids stuff , went to high school , had no idea what i wanted to do , studied at Napier Polytechnic ,Edinburgh , still had no idea what i wanted to do. ....Until I was walking through a park and was handed a complimentary ticket to see a matinee of a French circus, Archaos. ...and BOOM!!!!!! My life changed .

There were no animals in this circus , just loud rock , motorbikes , crazy characters and explosions. This is what was waiting for me.

I hassled them for a job for months, and they eventually gave me an audition, but with no training, no skills, all i could think of doing was pouring bake beans on my head and jumping around naked and they gave me a job.

Ive been more or less doing the same thing  ever since.
